When we do an assignment, it's usually a review on a lesson we're currently doing. Assignments are a bit easier, but can be hard at the same time. In this class, we don't really get assignments that often. The assignments we get are from our Social Studies textbook most of the time. But most of the assignments we do are group activities and posters during the beginning of a unit. These projects we mostly do in groups and we present it to the entire class. When it comes to using the textbook for the assignments, we have to paraphrase it. Those are part of the assignments we do.
When it comes to taking notes in class, we're normally handed a worksheet and fill in the blanks that are in a PowerPoint the teacher presents as we at the same time listen to the lesson. Sometimes, we watch a short video and take Cornell notes on the video. After taking the Cornell notes, we do the questions and the summary in the Cornell notes ad turn it in. Once the assignments are done, we sometimes correct the assignments as a class and talk about our answer. Sometimes while in a unit, we're given an article to read on the unit. After reading the article, we close note the article. That is all of the assignments and notes we take in class.
